Beach Clubs

Kalkan has around 10 Beach clubs in all. Some can be reached by water taxi from the harbour.

Complete with terraces and gardens, they offer everything from swimming and sunbathing to water sports, including Ringo & Banana, and restaurant facilities. The clubs are very popular & you can spend the whole day at a beach club entertaining the family and it is the perfect place to swim, snorkel or just watch the world go by from the sun lounger on the terrace. Water skiing and Paragliding are all available. You can also learn to sail, scuba dive and wake board.

Each Club has its own unique charm whilst all clubs provide easy water access, with free WIFI and friendly staff. There is usually a small charge which covers all-day sun bed and umbrella use. A taxi pick up and return to the villa can be arranged if required.

The waters around Kalkan have a Blue flag award for Cleanliness.

Opened in 2023, the exclusive ‘Lures hotel’ Beach club is the newest beach Club in Kalkan. It is open to non residents and is only 300m down hill (500 m back) from Villa Honu.

The Club offers large sea platforms lining the coast with wicker beach chairs, sunbeds, and a beach bar for drinks and snacks throughout the day.

The Kalamar Bay Beach Club is one of Kalkan’s most established Clubs and is located next to the Lures Hotel. Located in a quiet turquoise cove, it really is a great venue to enjoy the sun, sea and water sports. There are plenty of sun beds and parasols on different levels with a great café and bar with service to your sunbed.

The position in the Bay allows for longer sun and beautiful sunset views.

Also close by is the quieter Kulube Hotel Beach club, which is open to non residents and is found in a spectacular setting.

The very pretty, naturally planted gardens step down in terraces to the rock platforms where one can step straight into the beautiful water. It is said the water in this cove is the warmest in the bay, with locals swimming even in December. The Beach platforms are on several levels, so your peace and tranquillity may be enjoyed without interruption.
